When we think of January one of the first things that comes to mind is resolutions and new beginnings. We set our intentions for the year and promise ourselves that this year will be different. Our diet will last past Valentine’s Day, we will hit the gym daily, and that vice we gave up will be long gone. For a lot of us we start strong, but a few months in we are often left feeling defeated and discouraged. The thing we set out to do to improve our well being has left us feeling worse about ourselves. This year can be different! What if you make a resolution to be kinder to yourself? To wake up everyday and tell yourself that you are strong, smart and capable! When we make positive affirmations we can change our mindset, and soon we start living our new reality.
